When Google's executives project their company's future things must be quite rosy as overall the future for their smart phone operating system the Android platform is exceptional. If you're looking hard to find something about Froyo that you don't like the only one thing to really point to is the fact that you have to go to your phone manufacturer and perhaps your wireless carrier too and ask if or when it's going to get an upgrade. For instance, HTC says that anything shipped in 2010 is "most likely" going to get the update in the 2nd half of the year but the unfortunate thing is that the older devices could get left out of the mix.

With extended battery life, this feature should have been advertised as one of the advanced features.

Android's success can also be witnessed by the glass case display that was found down the hallway from the keynote address. Within this case are over 54 cell phones and tablet computers all using the Adroid software. The displayed allowed the visitors to see the current hardware line up as well as see what is coming from areas such as:

* HTC

* Motorola

From viewing the line up one could confidently conclude that the if there isn't a phone to match your size and shape criteria now there soon will be - even if the hardware is not as elegant as that of the iPhones...
